Surrender | A Recovery Meditation for Flare-Ups, Crashes, and Rest

floating-figure

When I was recovering, I found that I was continually told to rest but that even when lying down nothing felt like a rest. Sometimes the more I was in bed, the less I felt rested.

So here is a soothing guided audio meditation for you to help you begin to find true restoration on your path to recovery, especially during flares, crashes, or at bedtime. You don’t need to prepare anything or do anything perfectly. Just press play and follow the guidance.

🎧 Surrender | Guided Recovery Meditation

This guided audio meditation is especially good for bedtime or if you are in a flare-up or crash or need to lessen symptoms. It helps surrender to what is, and removes the layer of resistance that causes additional stress and keeps symptoms active. This meditation, used consistently, will contribute to your sense of connection that is a key component of the recovery path.

Binaural input is included to support brain rewiring and nervous system regulation.

When I was bedbound I was in a continual state of Fight, Flight, Freeze. I never felt rested, even after so much endless lying down. I eventually realised that rest wasn’t just about the body; my mind needed support too. Listening to guided audio became one of the first ways I began regulating my system. It was the start of realising how recovery was possible, through rewiring, not just waiting.

Next Steps

Recovery begins with clarity, not force. Surrender isn’t about giving up; it’s about shifting out of resistance and allowing your system to recalibrate.
This meditation is one way to help that process begin.
