Healing Together as a Family

When Chronic Illness, Anxiety, or Nervous System Struggles Show Up in Your Family.
If your child or teen is living with anxiety, pain, fatigue, or chronic symptoms that haven’t responded to treatment, or if you’re looking for more happiness and connection in your family, you’re in the right place.

Explore Support Together:

Build Safety, Trust & Connection

There is no single way a family arrives here. Sometimes it’s a teenager or young adult whose symptoms haven’t responded to treatment. Sometimes a parent already doing this work chooses to bring in their child or another family member. Sometimes it begins the moment a child’s body starts showing what words can’t yet say.

With her own son’s recovery from chronic illness as the turning point, Amari has since worked with a growing number of families navigating chronic pain, anxiety, and nervous system struggles together. What began as one mother stepping in when nothing else was helping her son has become a dedicated part of her practice: guiding teens, children, young adults, and the parents who love them, through mind-body and nervous system healing.

Amari works one to one with each family member on Zoom, always beginning with the person experiencing the symptoms, and offers personalised support as the whole family finds its way back to stability and trust. Whatever you and your family is facing, this approach can help. Many families often find something unexpected on the other side: a deeper connection than they had before.

Who This Is For

This work is for your family if you are:

  • Your teenager or child is living with anxiety, pain, fatigue, or symptoms.
  • Your child has started showing nervous system dysregulation and you want to understand what’s happening and how to help.
  • You are already working with me and want to bring your teen or child into their own container of sessions.
  • A sibling or another family member wants their own support alongside yours.

What This Work Looks Like

Sessions are personalised, experiential, and built entirely around your child, your teen, or whichever family member is doing the work. What we focus on depends on what is actually in the way, and that can be different for every child and every family.

For teens and young adults, this often means working directly with anxiety, physical symptoms, and the patterns that keep their system stuck in stress or shutdown, alongside building the confidence to trust their own body again. For younger children, it can mean gentle, age-appropriate ways of helping their nervous system feel safe, so symptoms have less reason to persist.

For parents ready to understand what’s really going on, it can be about clarity, direction, and a plan that makes sense; with real support, real tools, and someone genuinely on your family’s side every step of the way.

I started working with Amari when I was 17 after becoming really unwell, and she gave me something I hadn’t felt in a long time… hope. What stood out to me wasn’t just that she had recovered herself, but the way she made me feel safe.

A Message for You

If you are a parent, it can be helpful to know that most parents bringing their child to this work are thoughtful, attentive, and already doing better by their children than was done for them. That doesn't mean patterns of stress and protection can't still move quietly through a family. They can, in even the most loving homes, and they show up as anxiety, or symptoms in the family's nervous system.
